Κωνσταντίνος Ιωάννου και συνεργάτες

Ο Κωνσταντίνος Ιωάννου είναι πτυχιούχος του Τμήματος Δασολογίας από το Αριστοτέλειο Πανεπιστήμιο Θεσσαλονίκης, με μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές και διδακτορικές σπουδές στο αντικείμενο της Δασικής Πληροφορικής από το ίδιο πανεπιστήμιο.

Ειδικεύεται στην ανάπτυξη Πληροφοριακών Συστημάτων για την προστασία του φυσικού περιβάλλοντος με τη χρήση σύγχρονων γλωσσών προγραμματισμού και στατιστικών εργαλείων.

Έχει εκπονήσει δύο Μεταδιδακτορικές Έρευνες στους τομείς των δικτύων αισθητήρων και στα Έμπειρα Συστήματα. Αναλυτικότερα, το έργο του επικεντρώνεται στον τομέα της Τεχνητής Νοημοσύνης, τη δημιουργία και τη μελέτη Συστημάτων Υποστήριξης Αποφάσεων, Έμπειρων Συστημάτων, Τεχνητών Νευρωνικών Δικτύων και αλγορίθμων γενετικής βελτιστοποίησης, στους τομείς του προγραμματισμού, της προστασίας και της ανάπτυξης του Φυσικού Περιβάλλοντος.

Είναι ο συγγραφέας και συν-συγγραφέας 25 επιστημονικών άρθρων σε περιοδικά και έχει εκπονήσει περισσότερες από 40 ερευνητικές εργασίες που δημοσιεύθηκαν σε εθνικά και διεθνή συνέδρια.

Έχει συμμετάσχει ως ερευνητής σε 14 Ευρωπαϊκά, χρηματοδοτούμενα ερευνητικά έργα.

Έχει διδακτική εμπειρία σε Πανεπιστήμια, τόσο σε προπτυχιακές σπουδές όσο και σε μεταπτυχιακά προγράμματα. Έχει υπάρξει επιβλέπων σε 6 Μεταπτυχιακές εργασίες και έχει λάβει μέρος στην εξεταστική επιτροπή 14 Διπλωματικών Εργασιών.
